The 500CR is part of Savarez’s Cristal Corum series, featuring Savarez Corum basses paired with Cristal nylon trebles. Cristal nylon trebles are a classic clear nylon string with a very consistent diameter and precise tension, with a very focused, clear tone. Corum basses offer a very flexible feel while retaining a quick response, with a high dynamic range.
- Savarez’s 500CR string set is comprised of normal tension Cristal trebles and Corum basses.
- They are produced from a new improved nylon: the amount of crystallinity of the string is optimized and there is a perfect link between the molecules.
- This nylon is not rectified by mechanical way in order to keep a smooth surface on it.
- A surface treatment and a control driven by a comuputer using laser beam and photoelectric cells permit a real precision and regularity of the gauge.
- Elongation and the amount of crystallinity of the string are increased that gives a very clear, clean and concentrated sound.
