Composite is real wood that has been dyed and cut in a manner that results in clean, consistent, defect free sheets. It can be laminated and finished like any other wood veneer. About pictures : Most pictures have been temporarily wet on the lower portion of the veneer to show what the grain may look like when finish is added.
